    • Cilantro for garnish

Method:

  1. For the pakoras:
    1. In a large bowl, mix together the gram flour, salt, cumin, coriander, ajwain seeds, and red chili powder.
    2. Add the water to the bowl and mix until the batter is smooth and has a pouring consistency.
    3. Stir in the sliced onion to the batter.
    4. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. Using a spoon, drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
    5. Drain the pakoras on a paper towel to remove any excess oil.
  2. For the kadhi:
    1. In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, water, gram flour, salt, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and red chili powder until smooth.

    3. Pour the yogurt mixture into the pan and stir to combine with the spices.
