Black Bean Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 whole grain buns
  • Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, cheese, etc.)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork or potato masher until they are mostly broken down.
