Ingredients:

  • 250g paneer, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup cashews, soaked in water for 30 minutes
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they start spluttering, add chopped onions, green chilies, ginger paste, and garlic paste. Sauté till onions turn translucent.
  2. Add chopped tomatoes and cook till they turn soft and mushy.
  3. Add cashews and cook for a minute.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool down.
  5. Grind the mixture into a smooth paste.
  6. Heat the same pan and add the cashew paste to it.
  7. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well.
  8. Add cream and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Add paneer cubes and salt to taste. Cook for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
  10. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  11. Serve hot with rice, naan, or any Indian bread of your choice.
