Ingredients:
- 500 grams boneless chicken, cut into cubes
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 2-3 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2-3 green cardamom pods
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt, to taste
- 1/2 cup cream
- Coriander leaves, for garnishing
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, coriander seeds, cloves, cinnamon stick, and cardamom pods. Fry for a few seconds until fragrant.
- Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Add the ginger paste and garlic paste, and fry for a minute.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.
- Let the mixture cool down and then blend it into a smooth paste.
- Heat some more oil in a pan and add the chicken cubes. Fry until the chicken is browned on all sides.
- Add the blended tomato-onion paste to the chicken and stir well.
