Clam Chowder

Ingredients:

  • 4 cans of minced clams
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 stalks of celery, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 3 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the pot.
