Sweet Cinnamon Treats
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup whole milk
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Alternately add in the flour mixture and the milk, starting and ending with the flour mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fill the cupcake liners about 2/3 full with the batter. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and let cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
