Recipe that Stop Blackheads and Whiteheads
Blackheads and whiteheads are two common types of acne that can appear on the skin. They both occur when hair follicles become clogged with oil and dead skin cells, but they differ in appearance and whether the pore is open or closed.
Blackheads are open comedones, which means the clogged pore is open to the skin's surface. The trapped oil and dead skin cells oxidize and turn black, hence the name "blackhead." They typically appear as small, dark spots on the skin, often on the nose, chin, and forehead.
Whiteheads, on the other hand, are closed comedones, which means the clogged pore is not open to the skin's surface. The trapped oil and dead skin cells create a small, white or flesh-colored bump on the skin's surface. They can appear on the same areas of the face as blackheads, but they can also be found on the chest, back, and shoulders.
Both blackheads and whiteheads are non-inflammatory types of acne and are considered mild. However, if left untreated or if the pores become infected, they can lead to more severe acne breakouts.
